Ouch. And definitely decided I'm going to remake my Jedi Sage soon as I get my mitts on retail version of the game. Pure healing baby.. Already got my spec laid out unless they make some major changes in the next few weeks. Almost fully completing the Seer tree, with the rest of the points split between Balance and Telekinetics. Other then the annoyance at the UI taking forever to switch targets whenever I clicked on another to heal them, healing the flashpoints and the heroic zones in groups of 2+ were fun. Especially after I got the "force shield" bubble. Tank about to splat? Pop! Absorbs enough dmg to give me enough time to toss a heal. Woo. Though it is going to be great trying to tell people I'm bone dry of Force on the hard stuff though.. "OOM!! OOM!.. Wait! OOF! OOF!!!!"

Hmm, after reviewing the talent trees and playing a jedi knight in beta, I think I agree with Baku about the shadow consular tank. The jedi knight mechanics were a simplified version of the WoW warrior rage mechanic. Instead of a 100 scale, it's 10. It seems to scale somewhat based on damage done and received, but doesn't look inherently tied to increased gear ratings. So yeah, I played that for 4+ years and would probably get bored quickly once I figured out the subtle differences. Also... I see initial rage starvation being a factor, especially on AoE pulls. I'm not sure about the trooper tank yet. He has some sort of energy cell mechanic? Starting off with a full force bar as a shadow consular just seems cooler =P Also... being able to stealth as you're regening and laughing at dumb dps that pulls when you're not ready yet could be priceless

I know I'm replying to this waaay late, but I honestly prefer to play whatever role is needed. My main at the moment is a DPS Sage, but I am never against changing specs or rerolling characters to meet whatever the guild needs. My alt is a tank just because heavy armor looks cool...

My Main is a Smuggler-Gunslinger for the DPS but since I bitch too much about low damage and dying on dailies I do have a Trooper-Commando that is heal speced almost to 40 now so will have that available for FP's also.

I like healing flashpoints as sage healer and plan on raiding with her. Shes been fifty for a while and collecting dust since ive mainly been doing dailies and maybe one fp a week instead of pvp or something.
