CoR in 2001: CoR Splits
In 2001, many members of Crusaders of the Realms felt that CoR had changed into
something they did not particularly like. As a result, many of
the members including a few of the founders,
such as Trollsbane, created a version of the guild under the name Companions of the
Realms.
Crusaders of the Realms continued on under its name and leadership at castlecor.org,
with the bulk of its membership in Everquest. Companions of the
Realms carried over its UO chapter from Crusaders as well as started a new
Dark Age of Camelot (DA0C) chapter in the realm of Ablion on the Nimue server
under the sub-title Champions of the Realms.

CoR in 2003: Introducing, Star Wars Galaxies -- Rolan maxes a character!
In 2003, the DAOC chapter began to level off, gaining as many members as left,
or stopped playing. The guild became a strong leader in a one of the larger
alliances in the Realm of Albion on Nimue.
During this time, the Star Wars Galaxies chapter was formed, with Rolan
as its AGM. Rolan for once stuck with a game long enough to max a character.
This is saying a lot and a little at the same time. I mean, at the time you could
accedently max a character in SWG. But credit must be given where credit is
due. Well done Rols!

CoR in 2006: The DDO gathers them, Jabber baits them back to EQ II -- CoR
has one consistant game once again.
2006 brought the guild together again. Starting out with DDO, many mambers found
a commen game they enjoyed playing together for a good deal of time. Membership
grew for the first time in quite a long time. Some members were still Rolaning
(jumping from game to game). Jabber and Kronis hopped from DDO, to WoW, and
even though he swor never to go back to that "PoS SOE game" EQ II, Jabber started
playing again. Soon, players started to drift away from DDO and back into
EQ II
Highlights of 2006:
- DDO Chapter formed.
- EQ II chapter Reopened.

CoR in 2007
Despite the differnces, it is sad that 2007 brought an end to Crusaders of the Realms
under its old leadership. However, a few members of Companions, especially
Trollsbane, do not wish to see the name die out after so many years.
www.crusadersoftherealms.com is registered and redirected to a new site that development
is begun on.
Kalfear, one of the founders of "companions" is frustrated and sadly leaves the
guild during this time. Members of mixed feelings about this.
CoR in EQ II remains strong and grows signifigantly. Once again, CoR finds
itself as host of an alliance of great guilds. New friends have been made,
and members continue to enjoy the game.
2007 Highlights:
- Casltecor.org closes.
- Crusaders of the Realms as a guild
in EQ disbands.
- A raiding alliance is formed under
Companions of the Realms in EQ II
- Development on a new site begins.
- Kalfear leaves the guild
- Bakardy Named Sage EQ II
